Framed... An Artful Prediction. The performer creates a small scene from inside a museum with four highly praised art pieces. Three framed works of art; "Squares", "Circles" and "Triangles" and a bronze statue called "Shapes". The three framed art pieces are placed in front of the spectator in any order. The performer explains to the spectator that prior to this he has made a prediction as to which of the three framed art pieces the spectator would select. The performer then explains to the spectator that the bronze "Shapes" statue would work brilliantly as a selector because of how the shapes are formed to create a natural pointer. The spectator is asked to place the "Shapes" statue, or the selector, in front of the framed art piece of choice. This is a free choice, and the spectator may change his/her mind by simply moving the selector in front of a different framed art piece. Once the spectator is satisfied with their choice, the performer shows that he/she knew precisely which one would be selected by revealing a small message that was placed prior to the routine stating, by name ("Square", "Circle" or "Triangle"), that this specific art piece would be selected.
