53 magicians is Mark’s interpretation of 53 Magicians instantly recognisable by their costume or signature effect. The work was completed over a six month period while at sea on board various cruise ships.
Each card was painted on a 20 x 25cm canvas. These have now been transformed into a deck of cards which are now available. Each 56 card deck includes three extra cards, a background card and two information cards showing the names of the 53 magicians! This is a fantastic set and is sure to become a collectors item of the future. Each card case is signed by Mark Shortland!
